It’s a common story. In fact the insurance industry has used research figures for years to convince people to go onto savings plans.


The Facts

Research clearly shows that if you take 100 young, enthusiastic 25 year olds with all their plans and dreams, and look at them again at the age of 65 after working the 40 year plan:

• Only 1 will be considered wealthy.
• Four will have enough resources to be considered independent.
• Five will be working because they have to (to survive).
• Twenty will be dead from accidents or premature causes.
• Twelve will be dead broke.
• Fifty four will be dependant on government or charity handouts.

Frightening, isn’t it?
