A very real, transparent and long term perspective is shown in today's Star Newspaper,comparing EPF and KLCI.StarBiz section , page B9, 3-12-08.
It is unfortunate that most investors use these investment vehicles for short term gain.They were created for long term gain. It is just a tool. Fire can be used for good or evil. So can guns and cars.
It is really a tough world for the innocent and naive while there is no way to control the oppotunists and stock market raiders. Unless some kind of Rules are put in place the Stock market will fail to help those who most need it.
So what other Financial Investment Vehicle does the man on the street have to prepare himself 25 years from today so that he has Rm5 Million for Retirement, Healthcare & Children's Education ?
